i started going to school again tonight. it's good to be back in a classroom. it's bad to be in an intro class with an adjunct who is clearly teaching for the first time. i'm hoping the material will engage me. and yeah, so - right, it's a social work theory and practice course. just intro level stuff. i have a lot of pomo asshole problems with social work - and like - concepts of civil society and workers enlisted by that civil society to guide those deemed unfit by society at large to be....
oh whatever... it's my first day.
it was nice to be back in school. i hope i'll feel that way in another month.
i hope i'll finally start loosening the tethered albatross that hangs around my neck that is, my failure to complete my doctorate in history.
